The Process

I’ve booked online, what happens next?

Once you have filled out the booking form you will receive a confirmation email along with instructions on how to pack & send your flowers. This will also include my contact details and studio address. 48hours before your wedding, you will receive a reminder email on how to send your flowers.

How do I send my flowers

On your confirmation email you will receive clear shipping instructions. For best results, your flowers should be shipped within 3 days of your wedding via a next-day delivery service. Alternatively, you are welcome to hand-deliver your flowers to my home studio in Hoddesdon Hertfordshire. I am contactable via email once you book, so this can all be discussed in more detail closer to your wedding date.

I’ve sent my flowers, what happens next?

When I receive your flowers, I’ll reach out via email, text or Whatsapp to let you know that your flowers have arrived safely. We will discuss your order if necessary and at this stage, you will be required to make the 1st 50% installment (if your order is over £300) or the full payment if under £300. Please note that if you are on honeymoon on the day that I receive your flowers, payment should be arranged prior to your departure. I am unable to start the drying process until payment has been made.

The next steps

The first stage is to make cuttings & preserve your flowers in silica. This process can take up to 21 days. Once your flowers are dry, we can begin the resin stage. Depending on the size of your order, this stage can take a number of weeks. Please note that once your order is made, resin needs an additional 1-2 weeks to reach full cure (harden). The full process usually takes up to 20 weeks, sometimes longer during busy periods. Once complete, I will send you a photo of your finished order and your final invoice if required. I will also do my best to tag you in process photos & videos along the way! Once shipped, I will send you your tracking details.

Communication throughout the process

Flower preservation is a long process with lots of moving parts. Due to my workload as a sole proprietor, keeping my brides updated has become more challenging in terms of communication throughout the process. Providing constant updates is difficult, especially when updates themselves can change, requiring additional time and effort. Therefore, I want to set clear expectations regarding communication.

You can first expect to hear from me 3-4 times throughout the process: 1. when your flowers are delivered safely 2. 4-6 weeks later (once your flowers have dried & move onto the next stage and 3. when the final payment is due. Lastly, when your order is complete, which typically takes 4-8 months. I will notify you and send some photos and re-confirm your delivery address. While I may occasionally tag you in process videos, it may not always be feasible. I understand your excitement and desire for a prompt delivery, but please understand that constant updates can hinder my ability to fulfill orders efficiently. Rest assured that your flowers are safe, and you will soon receive a beautiful keepsake.
